Alexis Santos completed the Spirit Rock/IMS Teacher Training Program for meditation. She began practicing Insight Meditation in 2001, and has traveled to India and Burma to further her study. Now she teaches meditation retreats across the world.

Alexis is a longtime student of Sayadaw U Tejaniya, a Burmese Buddhist monk. After studying with Joseph Goldstein, Jack Kornfield, Carol Wilson, and other teachers, Alexis graduated from the Spirit Rock/IMS Teacher Training Program.

She teaches meditation in the US and abroad, and combines an intuitive and practical approach to wisdom with a focus on natural continuity and relaxed continuity. Her teaching is rooted in Sayadaw U Tejaniya's teachings.
