In early 2020, a 3-year-old boy named Nayim Carter accidentally drowned in a swimming pool. He was rushed to hospital, where he spent over a year in a coma. The child’s parents fought to save their son, even holding fundraisers and posting viral videos online.
The latest video that has gone viral shows the boy’s father, Alli Muhammad, performing chest compressions on the baby. The mother says in the livestream that she tried to resuscitate the boy several times and that he “still has a pulse and a heartbeat.” But it seems that’s not exactly true. Toxicology results later revealed that the child died from resuscitated drowning. But many people are blaming the hospital for his death.
