bumbu rum review

Bumbu rum is an excellent choice for those who enjoy a smooth, sophisticated taste. It is made in Barbados from sugar cane sourced from the West Indies, and aged for up to two years in oak barrels to give it its distinct flavor.

Bumbu is made from a unique blend of 15 natural spices, fruits and oils that provide a bold, smooth taste. The rum has aromas of molasses, cinnamon, vanilla and citrus. It is best enjoyed neat or mixed into cocktails.

The Original

Bumbu - The Original is a blend of sugar cane and spices from 8 different countries including Barbados, Belize, Brazil, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guyana and Honduras. It is distilled at the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados and matures in ex-bourbon casks.

The Original is a popular choice for rum lovers, as it has a distinctive flavor profile and a clean finish. It is available in a standard bottle or a limited edition bottle featuring a tarnished medallion and old-fashioned cork stopper.

XO

The XO is a step up from the Original and is probably best suited for those who are slightly more experienced in spirits. It is not as sweet, has a bit more oak wood notes and a sherry cask finish.

The XO is an improvement on the Original and is certainly worth trying out. However, it is not as easy to drink and will probably leave you wishing that you had got the Original instead.
