Scott Caan plays Detective Danny Williams, or Danno, on Hawaii Five-O. He’s a fan-favorite and has become a part of the family, so when he was seen with an arm brace, it was no surprise that everyone wanted to know what had happened to him!
As fans may be aware, Caan has a long history of injuries. He reportedly suffered a ligament injury that left him on crutches and a knee brace in the first season of Hawaii Five-O back in 2010. It is believed that he hurt himself while filming a stunt for the series.
However, the show did not slow down or lose momentum in the wake of the injury. Instead, the writers decided to incorporate it into the storyline and threw a twist into the plot that made all the more sense considering that his character is a martial arts expert.
Caan is also a former professional athlete and has competed in several sports, including boxing and mixed martial arts. He is also a trained judoka and has a black belt in jiu-jitsu. He is also a dedicated cast member of the series, making sure to appear in every episode. But he is not above taking breaks from the production to spend time with his real-life family.
In fact, he has worked these breaks into his contract with CBS so that he can maintain the balance of work and family life. Caan’s dedication to the show has not gone unnoticed, and he is a well-deserved fan favorite.
