gbaemu4ds guru meditation error is an unwelcome computer crash message that originated with the early Commodore Amiga personal computers. The guru meditation message was designed to prevent a user from accidentally deleting critical files that could cause the system to shut down. This type of error message can also be found on some Microsoft Windows-based applications, such as WinAMP and DSOrganize.
When the guru meditation error occurs, the screen displays a black background with red text enclosed in a red rectangle. The text includes reference codes that identify the error types, structures, memory block addresses or the source of the crash in American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII) hexadecimal code. Later Amiga operating systems converted the error codes into text so that users without technical knowledge could understand what caused the crash.
