How to Meditate for Beginners

Meditation is a great way to relax, focus, and connect with your inner thoughts and feelings. If you’re new to meditation, it can be hard to know where to start. This article will give you some tips on how to meditate for beginners. Read on to learn more!

Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down. You can be anywhere you’d like, as long as you’re comfortable and won’t be interrupted. Once you’re in a comfortable position, close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth. Repeat this a few times until you feel relaxed.

Now that you’re relaxed, it’s time to focus on your breath. Inhale slowly and deeply through your nose, letting your stomach expand. Exhale slowly through your mouth. Continue breathing deeply and slowly, paying attention to each inhale and exhale. If your mind begins to wander, that’s okay! Just gently bring your attention back to your breath.

Continue focusing on your breath for as long as you’d like. When you’re finished, open your eyes and take a few more deep breaths. Congratulations, you did it! You just meditated!
