Meditation Float

Float Therapy, or sensory deprivation therapy, is known for its ability to relax the body and calm the mind. It is also known for enhancing mental clarity and meditation practice.

Meditation Float (also known as floatation therapy) is a technique that involves lying on top of water saturated with Epsom salts in a zero-distraction environment. The water is heated to skin temperature and is fully infused with the natural properties of Epsom salts to allow you to completely release tension, stress, and pain from your body.

The lack of distraction in a float tank allows the brain to focus on positive thoughts, feelings, and emotions without outside stimuli. Floaters report that their meditation experience is intensified in the tank.

Breathing Meditation

One of the best ways to meditate while floating is to focus on your breath, and breathe deeply until your lungs are almost full. This type of meditation is easy to do, and can be a great way to clear the mind.

Love Meditation

Another popular type of float tank meditation is to imagine feelings of love and gratitude towards yourself and other people. Repeat these feelings to yourself in your head or out loud, and let them guide your floatation experience.

Hallucinations

Many people report seeing objects and colors while floating. This type of experience is similar to a psychedelic trip, and can be a beautiful addition to your floatation sessions.
