What Happened In Mishicot Wi

The Town of Mishicot is home to a beautiful mix of fertile farmland, residential homes and wooded areas that are adorned by streams and the East Twin River. Located in the northeast corner of Manitowoc County, the Town of Mishicot has a great deal to offer both current and future residents alike.

Mishicot School District

The Mishicot Public Schools system serves the village of Mishicot and several surrounding towns. The district operates OH Schultz Elementary School, Mishicot Middle School and Mishicot Community High School. The superintendent of the Mishicot School District is Cory Erlandson.

Peter Skwor, 85, of Mishicot, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, August 10, 2022 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center in Manitowoc. He was born May 20, 1937, in Mishicot to Hugo and Florence (Nachtwey) Skwor and was a lifelong resident of the village. He was married to the former Marlis Clarksen on July 30, 1960, in Two Rivers. He is survived by his sons, Jim (special friend, Robyn Kramer) of Mishicot and John Skwor of Gladstone; three grandchildren; a brother, Ronald Skwor of Lake Tomahawk; sisters-in-law, Lois Vawter of Waukesha and Shelley Messman of Two Rivers; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
