Atz Lee is the star of Discovery show Alaska: The Last Frontier, which follows his family's life in the wilderness. In 2015, he suffered a near-fatal accident while hiking in Otter Cave. He broke his arm, shoulder, ankle, hip, and punctured his lungs. The show documented his arduous recovery and he's now happy and healthy.
Despite his injuries, Atz hasn't given up on his dream of living off the grid. He's now able to provide for his family with the help of his hunting skills. Unlike his uncle Otto, Atz doesn't keep livestock and relies solely on hunting to get his family through the winter months.
The Kilchers live in a primitive homestead in the middle of the Alaskan wilderness, where they work hard to survive off the land. They're able to sustain themselves with what they can grow and hunt for themselves, but it's not always easy. The reality star's homestead has seen several setbacks over the years, including Covid-19, a hernia, and more.
While many people think Atz and Jane are a couple, they are not. Both of them were previously married and had children before they found each other and decided to settle down at the Kilcher homestead. Jane had a daughter, Piper Isolde Kassouni, and Atz had a son, Etienne, with his first wife, Nantia Krisintu.
