From hateful social media posts to serious criminal charges, cee lo green’s career has taken several hits over the years. However, the singer-songwriter hasn’t been a complete no-show; he has appeared on television in minor roles and cameos, competed in 'Lip Sync Battle' and 'The Masked Singer,' and released a few more albums.

Born Thomas DeCarlo Callaway-Burton, Green is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, actor and record producer. He gained recognition for his work as one of the duos Gnarls Barkley and Goodie Mob, and he went on to launch a successful solo career.

In 2012, a woman claimed that she had dinner with Green in Los Angeles and then woke up naked in his bed. She accused him of sexual assault, but he denied the allegations and claimed that any sexual contact was consensual. He was later convicted of furnishing ecstasy, but he escaped jail time by pleading no contest to the drug charge.

Recently, Green dropped a new single titled “Baby Don’t You Go-Go.” REVOLT caught up with the artist to talk about his new music, his love for D.C’s go-go scene, his upcoming solo album dubbed DCeelo, and more!
