What Happened to Charlotte Flair?

April 1, 2024

The Queen is out for the foreseeable future

Last week, Charlotte Flair suffered an injury that will likely keep her out of the ring for over half a year. Flair was injured during a match against Asuka on the December 8 episode of WWE SmackDown. The two women were battling on the top turnbuckle when Flair lost her balance and fell to the mat. It’s believed that she tore her ACL, MCL, and meniscus in the fall.

The former 14-time champion will miss a lot of big events, including WrestleMania. It’s disappointing for fans, especially considering that Flair is a perennial fan favorite and just gave a match of the year performance against Rhea Ripley at last year’s event.

While Flair is out of action, she’s still working hard in the gym to stay sharp. She’s also doing a great job of staying involved with the community, particularly by donating her clothes to a local shelter. The star is also continuing to thin her collection of luxury cars, a passion she has inherited from her father, Nature Boy Ric Flair.

Despite the fact that she’s not wrestling right now, there are rumors that she may compete in the Royal Rumble match this year. If that ends up being the case, it will mark her third appearance in the annual event. The Queen has been a staple in WWE for more than 10 years, and it’s likely that her return will be just as memorable as her previous appearances.
