Kathy Ambush is a well-known American volunteer. She is also known as the ex-wife of attorney, judge and United States Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. She is widely considered to be one of the most influential African American women in the world.
She attended the only women’s college in Worcester, and then went to Lincoln University for her higher studies. She is a well-known activist who has worked for various organizations and earned a significant amount of money. She is believed to be having a happy life with her partner Allen Smith and has one son named Jamal Adeen Thomas.
After the death of her father, Kathy Ambush and her brother were raised by their mother in Savannah, Georgia. She later moved to Washington, D.C to pursue her career. She began working as a clerk at Georgetown University and later became a staff member at Harvard Law School. She was a member of the staff when she met her future husband, the Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, Clarence Thomas.
The couple was married in 1973 and have a son named Jamal Adeen Thomas together. They separated a decade after their marriage and divorced in 1984.
During his confirmation hearings in 1991, Thomas was accused of sexual harassment by Anita Hill, who testified that he exposed himself to her during a work-related meeting. Thomas denied the allegations and won the seat on the Supreme Court.
