What happened to jcs criminal psychology

The popular true crime YouTube channel JCS- Criminal Psychology, formerly known as Jim Can't Swim, recently found themselves in a bind. The channel, which had amassed a massive following on the platform thanks to their in-depth police interrogation analysis videos, suddenly started getting their videos removed without explanation by YouTube. The removal of their content has led to a massive community outcry, with big streamers and YouTubers like HasanAbi and xChocoBars reaching out to YouTube in support. Unfortunately, it seems that this isn't enough to get the videos back up and running on the platform.

If you're not familiar with the channel, they take publicly released footage of suspects being interrogated by law enforcement and provide a sober, incisive, and sometimes dryly funny or sarcastic analysis of the process. Their videos are narrated by Kizzume, whose soothing and almost Werner Herzog-esque voice adds to the overall appeal of the series.

One of the most notable JCS videos is "What pretending to be crazy looks like." This video explored the interrogation of Stoneman Douglas High School shooter Nikolas Cruz and his attempts to feign various mental health issues to get a lighter sentence. The video quickly became a hit, racking up over 30 million views in less than a week and even becoming the basis for a popular meme.

While it's not clear what exactly caused the videos to be taken down, it is clear that YouTube is cracking down on content creators and trying to make it more difficult for them to risk bothering with the platform. JCS has promised to keep viewers updated on their next move, but as of now that appears to mean moving to another platform.
