Evy Ramos and Bridget Smith are just two of the many lifestyle hosts whose quick exit from KSAT12's "SA Live" less than a year ago continues to draw questions from baffled fans.
Roper grew up in Spartanburg, South Carolina, graduating from Churchill High School and attending Wofford College in his hometown, where he specialized in mass communication/journalism and studied climatology. He is a two-time Country Music Association Personality of the Year winner and has appeared on multiple major market television stations including WCNC-TV in Charlotte, NC, WRAL-TV in Raleigh, NC, and WSOC-TV in Greenville-Spartanburg, SC.
When he isn't preparing the weekend First Alert Forecast, you can find him on Idaho's #1 Country 99 KUPI-FM, weekdays from 5am-12noon. He is also a highly-recognized radio personality with extensive experience on major market stations and nationally syndicated shows. He is married to his beautiful wife Angie and they have two daughters, Abby and Jackie.
