BTS fans may have been wondering what happened to jins hand in the grammys during their performance of Butter at the Grammys. While the other members danced, Jin remained seated behind a fake control board. Even so, he still delivered a stunning performance that left everyone in awe of his dancing skills and trademark charisma.
As previously revealed by Big Hit Music, Jin injured the extensor tendon in his left index finger while doing daily activities and consulted doctors about it. He underwent surgery to treat the injury on March 19 and has been wearing a cast since then.
During the post-GRAMMYs live broadcast, BTS members Suga, Jimin, RM, V, and Jungkook gave their viewers an update about Jin. They explained that the Visual King is doing well and is resting because of the surgery on his fingers.
They also mentioned that he would be wearing the wrap for a while longer because it's essential to the recovery process. They also said that they're preparing for four concerts in Las Vegas where fans will get a chance to see them up close and personal.
While many ARMYs were relieved to hear the news that Jin is doing okay, others were worried that he might have hurt his finger further during their performance at the Grammys. This is because the tendons in the back of the hand are not protected very well and it can be easily injured by a small cut or scratch.
