What Happened to Judge Lynn Toler's Husband?

March 21, 2024

When it comes to relationships, Judge Lynn Toler has seen it all. She’s best known for presiding over Divorce Court, a daytime TV show that focuses on divorce proceedings between celebrities and regular people. But she’s also leveraged her popularity into other shows, like the WE tv celebrity relationship show Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition. Sadly, the popular judge has had to deal with her own relationship drama in recent years. Her husband Eric Mumford, who she referred to as Big E, passed away in 2022, leaving a gaping hole in her life.

In a 2012 op-ed, Lynn Toler detailed how her own marriage was struggling and how she used what she’d learned from Divorce Court to help her through it. She also shared that the experiences she had on the show helped her save her own marriage, something that many viewers of the show can relate to.

After 13 years of hitting the gavel on Divorce Court, Lynn Toler decided to retire in 2020. But she hasn’t stopped working, appearing on other programs including Decision House and Wedlock or Deadlock. She’s also made appearances on The Ricki Lake Show and authored several books.

Despite her countless television appearances, there aren’t a lot of details about Lynn Toler and her personal life online. But based on her social media posts, it seems like she and her late husband had two sons together, William and Xavier. Her cause of death has not been released yet.
