The Halloween franchise has given us many stories about Laurie Strode, but there are still some things that remain a mystery. One of those mysteries is what happened to her son John.
It is not known if John survived the events of Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later, but Josh Hartnett was not cast in that film and it is unlikely he will appear in any other sequels to the franchise.
In the rebooted Halloween universe, there is a character named Allyson Nelson (Andi Matichak), who lives with her grandmother, Laurie Strode, in a small cabin near the psychiatric hospital that Michael Myers stays at during his rampage. In Halloween Ends, Allyson becomes involved with a scrap yard worker named Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), who is also on a killing spree.
This leads to a confrontation between Corey and Allyson, who gets angry when he realizes that she is the person who killed Jeremy Cartwell, her babysitter. After a brief argument, Allyson decides to help Corey out and lends him a scarecrow mask.
While Allyson and Corey are able to escape from Michael Myers, Laurie is not, and she remains trapped in her cabin. Despite her trauma from Michael, Laurie tries to keep her head up and fight back against him, but she can't. When she finally makes it to the psychiatric hospital, she is met by Michael Myers who is determined to kill her.
