Ross Hill died on January 15, 1990 at the age of 16 in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. He was adopted son of Terence Hill and Lori Hill.
Working in the wine industry is a natural progression of James’ love for the land that he developed during his time as a jackeroo and well honed hospitality skills acquired while working as an Area General Manager for Rydges Hotels and Resorts. James is passionate about the environment and has been instrumental in achieving Ross Hill’s government accredited carbon neutral status.
Luke Steele is a winemaker of immense talent and experience. He earned an Oenology Silver Medal from the University of Adelaide and has accumulated an impressive wine portfolio in both warm and cool climate regions, including prestigious estates such as Alkoomi Wines, Craggy Range Vineyards, Joseph Phelps Vineyards, Maison Chapoutier and Skillogalee.
Chrissy is the company accountant and company director for Ross Hill. She is the glue that holds the business together and is the most ardent supporter of the wines produced by the team.
