Skyler Maxey-Wert is a dancer from Lancaster, Pennsylvania who has become an internet sensation after wowing the judges with his audition on american idol. He hasn’t just wowed the judges with his dancing, but fans of the show have been blown away by his powerful vocal abilities too. In fact, many of them have taken to Twitter and other social media sites to report that they’ve experienced 'goosebumps' after watching him perform.

He began ballet at age 5 and has been dancing professionally for 12 years. He is currently a second soloist with Semperoper Ballett in Dresden, Germany and has toured internationally. He is also a former finalist at YAGP and has appeared in the Broadway touring production of Twyla Tharp’s ‘Come Fly Away.’

The judges are obviously blown away by his talent, and Skyler is on the brink of making it to the next round. However, he doesn’t just want to make it as a dancer. He has a dream to be on the Broadway stage too and wants to be known as a triple-threat.
