August 27, 2025

The Pussycat Dolls, a girl group blending pop, R&B, and dance elements, gained significant popularity in the mid-2000s with hits like "Don't Cha" and "Buttons". Originally formed as a burlesque troupe in Los Angeles by Robin Antin, they evolved into a music group in 2003 under the leadership of lead singer Nicole Scherzinger. While the group enjoyed commercial success, tensions within the group surfaced, often pointing to disputes over Scherzinger's prominence. These issues, along with changing music industry dynamics, led to their disbandment in 2010. Attempts at reconciliation have been made, with a reunion tour announced in 2019.
