Actor Tom Hardy has been in the spotlight recently due to reports that he doesn’t have a pinky finger. Apparently, the actor lost his pinky when he was younger after accidentally cutting it with a kitchen knife and severing a tendon. The injury left his pinky permanently bent and the resulting curled shape is often visible in his work.

The actor hasn’t been a softy all his life though, as he once recorded a rap album under the moniker Tommy No 1 and also participated in the 2022 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Open Championships. He still takes his training seriously and regularly practices boxing, Muay Thai and Brazilian jiu jitsu.

Tom is a well-known tough guy on screen, as he plays characters such as Max Rockatansky in Mad Max: Fury Road and Eames in Inception. He also starred in Peaky Blinders and both the Kray twins in Legend. He hasn’t been afraid to talk about his troubled past, opening up about his struggles with alcohol and drug addiction.

He also starred alongside Shia LaBeouf in Lawless as a Virginia bootlegger who looked like he shouldn’t be messed with. And in The Dark Knight Rises, Warrior and Bronson, the actor plays Bane, a villain everyone is scared of. It’s fair to say that Hardy is one of the most imposing actors around right now.
