If you're a YouTube celebrity, you probably know that being famous on the internet can be a dangerous game. The fame can be fleeting, and your downfall might come at any moment. This is exactly what happened to vlogger EDP445 who went from viral star to YouTube pariah after being accused of pedophilia.
Bryant Moreland, better known as EDP445 (which stands for "eat dat pu---"), spent over a decade building an audience online with his crude humor and unabashed personality. The two million-subbed vlogger gained popularity for his ranting at the camera, his over-the-top fandom for the Philadelphia Eagles, and appearances on Comedy Central's Tosh.
In April of 2021, a YouTube channel called Chet Goldstein released a video in which it claimed to have recorded chat logs from messages sent between Moreland and a decoy that appeared to be an underage girl. The YouTubers behind the channel, Alex Rosen and CC UNIT, specialize in exposing paedophiles. Following the sting, Moreland was accused of messaging multiple underage girls and was banned from all of his YouTube channels. He also lost access to Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitch.
While some people hoped he would bounce back from his downfall, more and more evidence came to light that he was a pedophile and that he had been texting underage girls. He hasn't been able to rebound on any platform and is a ghost on social media, but fans are still curious about what happened to him.
