Who Is Dr Levinson?

Dr Marc Levinson is a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Specialist in New York, NY and has over 40 years of experience. He graduated from St George’s University in 1982 and is affiliated with medical facilities NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital and NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

He is a board certified physical medicine & rehabilitation specialist with expertise in pain management, muscle, bone, and soft tissue injuries and their treatment. He treats patients with a variety of conditions, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, and sprains.

What can I do to get better?

Dr Levinson has helped thousands of patients with dyslexia, learning disabilities, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental disorders. His work has led to a dramatic medical breakthrough in the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of dyslexia.

His work has also provided renewed hope and often rapid and dramatic help for children and adults with dysgraphia (poor writing), dyscalculia (poor math), dyslexia, and other dyslexic-related signal-scrambling disorders involving the inner-ear and cerebellum. He has discovered the many, if often hidden, presence of these same or related signal-scrambling disturbances in a series of major processing disorders, including mental retardation and Down’s syndrome, cerebral palsy, brain injury, autism, Asperger syndrome, and psychosomatic disturbances.

He is the only eye surgeon in Baltimore who is certified to fit SynergEyes lenses for irregular corneas, such as keratoconus and thinning of the cornea after LASIK surgery. He also helps patients with other complex eye problems, such as dry eyes and ocular fibrosis. Learn more about a great math tutor here.
